On the Basketball team and didn’t get a lot of play time but did score 5 pts during the season. However, his nickname given to him by his friends was the “human mop” because he would dive on the floor for every loose ball and play good defense. On the track team, Mark threw shot put but wasn’t very good at it and never placed in a meet. During this time, he was still playing soccer with Spectrum’s soccer team.
2012: Mark Graduated High School
Mark finished high school walking across stage on crutches after breaking his foot playing soccer the night before the biggest tennis match of the season (His partner Rob Butcher was not happy). However, he finished lettering in Soccer and Tennis for the high school. Mark had a severe case of senioritis as he almost attendance failed (missed 30 days of school) and tried to get out of all the school work he could.
